Instructions

Boil a large pot of salted water for the rigatoni. TIP: If you’re in a hurry you can boil the water in your kettle.

When boiling, add the rigatoni to the water and bring back to the boil. Cook until softened, 12 mins. Once cooked, set aside 2 tbsp of pasta cooking water (double for 4p), drain the pasta in a colander and pop back in the pot, off the heat.

Peel and grate the garlic (or use a garlic press).

Place a pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.

Once hot, add the prawns. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4-5 mins. IMPORTANT: Wash hands and equipment after handling raw prawns. Prawns are cooked when pink on the outside and opaque in the middle.

Add the garlic and paprika and fry for another minute. 

Stir through the peas and worcester and allow to warm through.

Add the creme fraiche, pesto and pasta water. Simmer for 1-2 mins.

Add the pasta and mix until everything is warm.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Divide the pasta between plates and scatter over the cheese.
