Can you follow a pescatarian diet with HelloFresh?

Yes! It’s super easy to follow a pescatarian diet with HelloFresh. We have a pescatarian meal plan that combines meals from our vegetarian meal plan, alongside a few of the week’s fish and seafood recipes to keep you happy and satisfied throughout the week.

Is a pescatarian diet healthy?

If followed in a balanced way, a pescatarian diet can be super healthy and even help protect you from health complications such as diabetes and high blood pressure thanks to being high in healthy fats and fibre. Like all diets, though, if you combine your pescatarian diet with high amounts of saturated fats, sugar and salt, you’re not going to reap the same benefits.

How much fish should a pescatarian eat?

Fish is extremely healthy and full of healthy fats and omega-3 fatty acids, however you do have to be careful of its mercury content. It’s recommended by the Irish Heart Foundation that you eat around two to three portions of fish per week.
