Oven dish



Preheat your oven to 190°C/170°C fan/gas mark 5. 

Finely chop pear. In a bowl, mix the cake batter, cinnamon and chopped pear.

Line an oven dish (approx 15x20cm) and pop the batter into it.


Pop the oven dish in the oven and bake for 45-50 mins or until firm to touch and a skewer inserted comes out clean.

Set aside to cool completely in the tin.

Meanwhile add the cream cheese and 2 tsp sugar to a bowl. Whisk vigorously for 1 minute to until smooth. 


Transfer spiced pear crumble cake to a plate or serving board. Place the cream cheese frosting in a piping bag to garnish (or a freezer bag with a small incision in one of the corners to make a hole) and drizzle over the cake. You can also just spoon it on top. Slice and serve.
