Cooking steps

Time to Fry
1
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7.
  • Place a pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Once hot, add the bacon lardons. Stir-fry until golden, 4-5 mins. IMPORTANT: Wash your hands and equipment after handling raw meat. Cook bacon thoroughly.
2
  • Once cooked, remove the bacon pan from the heat and add 1 tbsp butter and half the Italian herbs.
  • Season generously with salt and pepper, then stir to combine.
  • Place the Naans on a baking tray.
  • Evenly divide the bacon mixture over the naans and top with the grated cheese.
3
  • Drizzle over the honey, then bake your cheesy naans on the middle shelf of the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbling, 5-7 mins.
  • Once baked, cut into bite sized pieces and transfer the naans to a sharing platter.
  • Scatter over the crispy onions to finish.
