Cooking steps

Roast the Potatoes
1
  • Preheat the oven to 240°C/220°C fan/gas mark 9.
  • Halve the potatoes lengthways, quartering any larger pieces, and pop onto a lined baking tray.
  • Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper. Rub the oil over the potatoes then spread out on the baking tray.
  • Roast on the top shelf of the oven until fork tender, 25-35 mins.
Bake the Mini Burgers
2
  • In a large bowl, combine the mince, breadcrumbs, and 2 tbsp water. Season with salt and pepper and mix together by hand.
  • Roll into evenly-sized balls, then shape into 2cm thick burgers, 6-8 pieces.
  • Pop the burgers onto another lined baking tray. Bake on the middle shelf until cooked through, 8-12 mins. IMPORTANT: Wash hands and equipment after handling raw mince. Burgers are cooked when no longer pink in the middle.
Dish Up
3
  • Divide the roast potatoes between plates.
  • Serve mini burger patties alongside, topped with a dollop of ketchup.
  • Serve any remaining ketchup alongside for dipping.
