Cooking steps

Fry the Chicken

  • Preheat your oven (for the wraps) to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7 (to avoid turning on your oven, dry-fry in a pan instead).
  • Place a large pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Add the chicken to the pan with BBQ rub, salt and pepper.
  • Fry until golden brown on the outside and cooked through, 8-10 mins. IMPORTANT: Wash hands and equipment after handling raw chicken and its packaging. Chicken is cooked when no longer pink in the middle.

TIP: Notice a stronger smell from your chicken? Don’t worry, this is normal due to packaging we use to keep it fresh.

Prep the Veg

  • Meanwhile, trim the cucumber, then chop into 1cm wide, 5cm long batons. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  • Halve the avocado and remove the pit. Cut into chunks (while still in its skin) then use a tablespoon to scoop out the flesh.
  • Crumble the Greek style cheese into small pieces.
  • Quarter and core the apple.
  • Pop the wraps (1 per person) into the oven to warm, 1-2 mins.

  • Fill the wraps with the chicken, avocado, Greek style cheese and cucumber.
  • Drizzle over the aioli.
  • Tightly roll up the wrap, cut in half and add to your bento box. 
  • Arrange the apple, cherry tomatoes and any remaining aioli alongside.
